Eye of Tiger, burning bright!

During the last few days, I've had reason to call you a 'big, ba-a-a-d puddy tat'!

But, I've concluded you truly are a friend.

This is the herbal Liver Flush you posted here in the Liver Flush Forum as the one you prefer:

Quoting White Tiger...

"Here is the formula for the liver and gallblader cleanse that I prefer to use.

I suggest taking one or two enteric coated peppermint capsules with each meal for a few days before using this liver and gallblader cleanse formula. This has been proven to dissolve liver and gallbladder stones.

Put one teaspoon each of
...Oregon grape root,
...marshmallow root, and,
...dandelion root
in one quart of water (four measuring cups).

Simmer the roots for five minutes before turning the heat off.

Add a half teaspoon each of
...nettle leaves, and,
...peppermint leaves.

Let steep for twenty minutes before straining all the herbs.

Drink at least one cup a day.

You can also make a tincture or pills with this formula.

Start drinking peppermint tea each day as a preventative against stones."

End quote.

.................

And, I'm here to report how it is going. (Big grin!)

The first evening, several days ago, I drank about a cup and a half, hot and fresh-made.

And the same amount for a day or two thereafter. No big problems, but I could feel my heart beating...NOT pounding...so I decided to slow down a bit, just in case.

The following day I only drank the remainder...about a half cup.

The next day, yesterday, I think I drank close to four cups, without noticing how much until afterwards. (No more noticing the heartbeat.)

Yesterday, late afternoon, I began to take your name in vain!

Oh my, but that HURT! In waves! (Contractions, of course.) I began to worry because the pains were high under the liver, not down in the gallbladder.

Standing, they hurt a lot. I had to wash the dishes in stages, sitting at the computer (for relief) in between. I fell asleep here, and woke to find that the one big stone that was hurting had dropped into the gallbladder.

Though I still had some ache at the back of the liver (sore ribs in the back) the relief was refreshing. (You were back in my good books.)

I had a bad night...and finally got in a few good hours this morning. Before noon I was up and functionng, but not 100%. I sat quite a bit today.

By late afternoon I was moving about my kitchen going "Ahh" - "Ee-e-e" and "Oh-h" by turns.

(I was thinking to call you bad names once more, but I didn't have the heart. I remembered yesterday's relief, and my new-found confidence that these are liver stones , moving into the gallbladder through ducts that have never passed that size of a stone before.)

Before our late supper, I made another batch of the tea, and began to sip another cup and a half (my cup is a big one). At 10:25 I am still sipping on it, cold.

I even gave my husband a half cup to drink before supper. He is flat on his back with labrynthitis (vertigo), dizziness, in spades.

(He had it once before, 35 years ago. It is a disorder of the middle ear where the bones don't move easily to balance when he moves his head. This is a whole 'nother story that has been unfolding at our house over the past four/five days.)

Now, I'm stting in my chair, here, and feeling recurring pain in my back right rib area. I think I need to fall asleep sitting up, once more. Everything good seems to happen when I'm asleep sitting up.

..............

THE FIRST TIME I PASSED A GALLSTONE, AND STONES DROPPING DOWN IN MY LIVER

The first [and only] gallstone I passed [at least three years ago] was while asleep in the car on a 3 - 4 hour trip, my head lolling forward as I usually sleep sitting up.

At our destination, I felt an urgency to rush to the bathroom. Though I flushed too quickly, I noticed that the stone was black, flecked with bright green, smooth, and about the size of a pullet egg. It was between two distinctly different colors of stool...orangy and yellowish...quite different than any other I've seen.

The first stone was moved by big salads with olive oil and lemon or lime juice, and usually some garlic. I am convinced of this. I could feel its progress. The magnesium oxide mixture, with lemon, helped to relax the duct, I am sure.

Shortly after that was gone, three stones dropped out of my liver, two large and one smaller. I had thought they had begun to make their way out of the gallbladder and stopped because that duct was too small. Still, the twinges I felt were too high. Now I know they didn't make it that far. They were stuck in the lower part of the ducts OUT of the liver...for years.

................................

Pressure built, recently, but I got on top of it by metal-detecting on the beach...nice gentle swinging motion, for several hours at a time. I also clipped at an unruly hedge, for several hours at a time. Both of these activities settled my stones nicely.

I took good pinches of dried peppermint leaves, and chewed them, once or twice a day, in the week or two leading up to this this herbal cleanse. Watch out for the grit!

I must mention that I took some of my magnesium oxide mixture, with lemon juice and water at the start of this flush, and some more once during it. Probably I'll take some tomorrow morning, before breakfast...though I'll have to have tangerine with it.

(Neither of us is in any shape to drive. But we have groceries coming tomorrow. Maybe I'll wait for the lemon. Lime juice works well, instead, if that's what you have.)

I want to give an accurate description of my experience, in case someone else wants to know.

I have been a great chicken over this. Since I had heard others say that they had tried easier ways to flush the liver/gallbladder, I was drawn to your preferred recipe.

It is quite pleasant tasting, easy to make and use, and even has a mild calming effect (the marshmallow?).

Other small bothersome things seem to have quieted down somewhat from this tea, though I am surely overdue for a Humaworm cleanse.

(I was zapped for a liver maw by a bio-resonance machine, probably around the time of passing my first stone. That likely helped, too. Some say to have a parasite cleanse before doing the liver. The pressure I felt caused me to choose this way. I have been improving quite a bit just from a better diet, etc.)

Many thanks, White Tiger. You certainly do know what you are talking about.

I'm going to turn in early tonight. Eleven-thirty is wonderfully early for me.

Oh yes! I have my Maca right here. Tastes good! Is there any reason not to eat it at this time?

One happy fledgling!

P.S. I gave up cheese yesterday, as per my 'Addicted to molds' thread in 'Ask Humaworm' forum. From now on I'm looking to heat every bit of dairy before it passes my lips.
