Yes, there are different blood types and there is a thing called the Blood Type Diet . I have all the book The Blood Type Diet , by dc. j d'adamo. I followed it for a while, and in my opinion, it isnt very complete. I think its true that some blood types react differently to different foods, but there is so much more to the puzzle, like constitutional type, ayurveda dosha, fast or slow oxidizer. There also is not a lot of research behind it and is really only based on one guys studies.
If your interested in tailoring your diet to your body type, Dr Gabriel Cousens book, Conscious Eating, is far more detailed and comprehensive. And it is based on thousands of years of applying it to different people. I have found it to be far more accurate and very helpful.
