you have put your finger on the problem. my question to keven is: which of your parents acts like the world revolves around them? my guess would be his mother. the male is usually a weak enabler in these cases. i believe we have a budding young narcissist here. they are created by being raised by narcissists. once they are fully formed and integrated adults in society, they are what many consider incurable. being a personality disorder, it is, by definition, who they are and, by the processes employed by these personalities, they are never willing to give that up.

living with a narcissst creates extreme personal doubt and decimation of ego. therefor, the narcissist must continually establish their worth with others through drama, any kind of drama. drama is the currency of the narcissist. the more intense the drama, the more importance the narcissist can lay at his own feet. the only thing that matters is that he/she is the focus of the drama(or an integral part). therefor it does not matter if the drama is negative or positive. in the narcissists world everything is either wonderful and perfect or a nightmare and total disaster. everything else in the middle is a waste of time to them, like a person who sees a penny on the ground and wont bother picking it up.

most narcissists are female. if the narcissist is male, he has a higher than usual chance of being gay, as narcissism is a common component of homosexuality. this may or may not be due to being raised by a weak male, as that also can be causal in motivating a boy toward that lifestyle.
