I couldn't bring myself to face the fast, I reached out for comfort food to calm my nerves, so I guess my course is set before me. I'm trying to concentrate now on the positives, because like you, I'm not a drug/doctor/surgery kinda person. However, it is good to hear of your mom's success and frankly I will look forward to feeling better right away too. This whole thing came about when I started to try a vigorous exercise routine again. My trainer suggested I see my doctor when I was experiencing the shortness of breath. I need to call her and thank her for that! Who knows - she may have saved my life.

I'm having the heart cath. done on Thursday and depending on what they see, they will either do nothing, treat with medicine, or do the balloon and stint. I pray the latter will not be necessary, but I do want to feel better again.

Thanks so much for responding and telling me of your mom's success, it really is encouraging.
