I have not tried any store bought Stevia yet and may not need to based on success growing my own. Put 3 plants put in the herb garden early this past spring. As long as it gets water every now and then and the heat does not get too high for extended period, it literally grows like a weed, and has been easy to process; just trim however many branches you feel like trimming, put in a blender, blend a good 5 minutes on high, then sift through a strainer to filter out the remaining few big chunks of fibrous stems, then perhaps blend again a another minute or so. You'll be left with a fluffy, green powder. It does not seem to want to mix real well with liquids. This is more an annoyance. It does provide an earthy sweet taste. Have not tried cooking/baking with it but may in the near future.
