Sounds like what my father used to do in his coffee plantations. The coffee bushes were grown for 2 years in the land and then after harvesting, pulled completely up and a different crop was grown for one year.

This was done to allow the land to remineralize.

Wonder if many farms today care for their land and crops so?


Thank you for the memory - my dad's been gone for so mnay years now, it is surprising every time I realize how much he knew.
