Sorry to barge into your conversation. I'm not a person who really sees the doctor or advocates surgery. My mother had a similar siutation and they found she was having silent heart attacks. She had no idea. She had the cath and the angioplasty. (She took no anesthetic during the procedure) They put the balloon in and a stint. She felt immediately better. She's in better shape now and taking better care of her health. She can now exercise.
I'm not advocating surgery just telling you my mom's experience. I think doctors push too many drugs and do nothing to prevent illness. I have seen as in my mom's case where doctors can offer real help. After the angio the diet they wanted her on (had margarine uugghh!) was awful. I helped her with a healthier plan. You have to know when you need one and when you don't. I guess my mom's had progressed pretty far and she didn't have time to do natural.
