Thanx for your honesty. I share the same point of view on pets right now, and although I love the lilí guy, I feel like Iím being cold for not wanting to live with an animal.
The reason the parasite thing freaked me out is because I saw a website on animals and parasites, and it has a cartoon of a dog sleeping, and explains that while rover sleeps, the parasites deposit their eggs on his, well, butt, and then they spread, getting picked up by crawling baby, your hand etc.
Dr. Clark also claims that itís as easy as petting the dog/cat and then touching your face/mouth to be able to get a parasite. She must be really paranoid and wants others to be just the same, because that is exactly what she is doing to me-lol!
Plus, there are people Iíve known my whole life with lots of pets, and I think they would really benefit from doing a parasite cleanse! Itís so gross to think about catching a parasite from your pet, and thatís the real reason youíve had that dry cough for so long.
I agree that humans are not meant to live in a closed environment, it is said this alone is a cause of disease. When I think of having a dog, immediately what comes to mind is watching an episode of the Osbournes. I would never want to step foot in that house.
