Acne disappeared after going veggie

Hey there...

I thought I'd shed a ray of hope to those who suffer acne. Since about 14 I always had acne. It felt like there was never a time period more than a few days where I didn't have any. I had moderate, postual Acne (which is pretty gross). I tried every topical agent on the market. Only a couple of them worked to a decent degree, the rest were gimmicky (especially that proactive crap), working so-so. When I was 18 in high school, I went on accutane. After a couple months, my Acne completely disappeared. The only side affect was very dry and irratable skin, which I dealt with. At the time, I was getting full, free medical from the state (I'm not sure why), and then during the 4th month of my treatment, my medical was retracted and so I went off accutane completely.

My Acne came to the same degree that it had after a couple months. I'd started practicing yoga as a daily spiritual discipline and it suggested to go vegetarian... then everything else I read on yoga said go veggie. Being that I loved what yoga was doing for my mind, I decided to follow the advice and went veggie. Actually, I went a step further and went vegan. I learned to cook and prepared all of my meals from scratch at home. Within about a month, my acne disappeared, and hasn't come back. My "T" zone also disappeared. All of my skin now is neither too oily or too dry. It's the same all over.

There've been times, though, where I've had a lot of sweets in a week or two, or a lot of prepared foods from the store... and then I'll get a zit or two, but then I realize I'm eating too many sweets or processed food and switch again.

So, what I've come to learn in light of this is that most acne is caused by inflammation (and medically speaking, acne IS inflammation) from a rich and/or processed diet. Because inflammation doesn't happen outside of someone, it happens as a response to blood toxicity internally.

Get rid of meat, dairy, sweets, and start cooking your delicious meals from scatch.
