I am using Now Brand Kelp in capsules. I take them 4 at a time, usually 3 times per day.
I started out using the Now Brand Granulated loose Kelp, which I could only get down by mixing it with BSM. I switched to the capsules when I realized I wasn't taking the kelp often enough because of the taste.
It worked much better rather than taking it all at once, to spread the Kelp out into about 3 times per day. When I make the drink I make sure I take 4 capsules at the same time.
At first I tried to take 3 or 4 drinks per day, but I found that was too much at a time, so I backed off. Right now I find that I seem to do best at 1 or 1 1/2 drinks per day, and I may increase it in the future.
Make sure you only use fresh-squeezed Lemons in the drink. It makes a big difference, and for me the ACV was no substitute for it. I use both ACV and Lemon in each drink.
Also important is that teeny little pinch of ES with every meal.
Please re-read my post about the Thyroid signalling response to the Kelp- It was a definite feeling, unmistakable and localized. Now, that was what happened with *me*, your signal may be different, but I'll bet it will still be very localized.
