Re: Veins showing in arms, bad?
Well, I'm pale white (not ghostly) and thin. So my veins are like a road map in some places! They don't stick out at all, they are just highly visible (except in my hands, they stick out a little when I play the piano or type a lot). Particularly my hands, my elbows (inside part, where you give blood), and upper chest near the collarbone.
Nurses love me when they need to take blood. They can easily see where my veins are and get in there on the first try.
Without fat to cover the veins, my skin is somewhat translucent. I don't think it's a bad thing. Hmm, my description of me sounds scary. I swear, I don't look scary!
So merely being able to see them isn't, in itself, a bad thing (in my opinion). It depends on WHY you can see them.
