Many people have a hard time jumping into a restrictive diet. Why not try easing into it instead. Allow yourself one good meal a day with the healthy foods you enjoy. Make sure the other meals and any snacks are in line with your diet, whatever it is. I totally blew any pretense of eating healthy today, but I refuse to feel guilty. I felt lousy both physically and emotionally and needed some comfort food. I can't do that everyday, but I needed it today. You need to learn to balance what is good for you with what you like best. You can do it, as time goes on, just replace more and more of your old favorite comfort foods with healthy alternatives. Avoid binge eating. If you do eat the wrong thing accept that you messed up once, but don't eat every piece of crap in sight just because you made a mistake. Always seek the healthy, but don't beat yourself up if you are less than perfect, especially at the beginning.
