This is great! It started when I was a teenager, I had just gotten over a flu or bad cold and I still had phlegm in my throat. When I ate it just collected little particles of the food and it was frustrating. I tried to get it out by gagging and ended up making myself throw up. I did this every time I felt the phlegm. When I finally felt like the mucus was finally gone and over with I quit making myself sick. Unfortunetely my body adapted to my vomit inducing that when I stopped my body didn't. Long story short I was able to control it and stop.
I'm 22 now and I still get the phlegm in the back of my throat but I don't do anything drastic, just try to spit it out is all I could do. When I started OP-ing I noticed the phlegm would just come up when I was swishing and I am able to get it out. I'm so glad I read about it and tried it.
