YOu could have felt sick, toxic, fast heartrate, blaoted, etc. etc. from the the shrimp too -- it has an ancient history of being bad for the body. Also, just read that the use of more than 290 different chemicals and biological products was documented in the shrimp industry (Department of Systems Ecology, Stockholm University). Many of the pesticides, disinfectants and Antibiotics used by the farmers could have negative effects. And not all salmon is always the safest either, but I know shrimp is always a no-no even if harvested fresh. They are scavengers and could have arsenic too.
