it sounds to me like shingles. It usually shows up on a persons side and migrates along the nerve to the spinal cord. is there any itchy pain involved? If you've had chickenpox you are prone to it. It is usually caused by a run down immune system. I developed it when I did my flush. Hopefully this isn't the case for you, but it doesn't hurt to get checked by a doctor
