Re: Scared to become raw b/c of too much misinformation - any advice?

HI! I just wanted to tell you that soy has been show to be toxic and can harm your health. The chinese always ate it in a fermented state which eliminates some of the toxics, and they only ate it in small amounts. Now that America has an over-abundance of soy crops they needed to sell it somehow. So they came up with the idea that soy was a super-healthfood in order to create consumers. Read this article http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/soy.htm They is so much misinformation out there(something you seemed to be confused with right now)that has a lot of greed behind it. Educate yourself and form your own opinions. Wanting what's best for the planet is the start. Anyways, I thought you might like to learn about kinesiology muscle testing to see what's best for your body. It's a really great technique that I've used for my family to learn what we are allergic to. Eliminating the foods we test weak to has dramtically decreased my insulin(I'm a type 1 diabetic) and has helped cure both my sons of ADD and anxiety/depressive disorder. I explain how to do it here if your interested http://curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=272967#i And yeah, they are many stories of people who got sick on raw diets because they ate too much fruit and not enough fats and vegetables. Just because it's raw does not mean it's good. You can eat a very unhealthy raw diet. It's all about the quality of the food you eat and getting the proper nutrients, which becomes easy on an organic raw diet with plenty of greens. My mother got very sick on a raw diet a long time ago because she was not eating organic, mineralized foods. She was also not eating enough fats for her body. After trying raw again with me, this time with organic foods, enough fats, and more greens, she is healing from her insomnia and has cured her depression. It's all about getting the proper nutrients from you food. Good luck! Love, Mary
