Re: Enzymes?

To break down scar tissue you may do better with a systemic enzyme like Nattokinase or Serrapeptase. I have used both in an effort to break down scar tissue around the sciatic nerve. Due to financial constraints, I was not able to do this therapy as long as I should have, but I did notice some results, especially with the Nattokinase. This was done through the advice of my Naturopath. He does not believe in long term use of digestive enzymes though, he says the body gets "lazy" and will stop producing natural enzymes if too many supplements are used too often. It seems like a lot of herbal and natural remedies, like the parasite cleanses, laxatives, and enzymes should not be used for long periods of time because the body (or the parasites) learn to adapt to the added stimulus or irritants and no longer functions on their own, or in the case of parasites becomes resistant to a steady dose of herbs.
