Re: Organic definitions

Grz, a friend of mine has a "certified" organic garden in California. She is not allowed to compost & she is not allowed to have ducks or bantams in her garden (for bug control, and the soil enriching blessings of their sh!t). She was telling me some time ago that many "certified" growers were discussing giving up their certification and adopting a new definition, like "natural". Sorry this info is a little sketchy, but worth looking into, I think.
Home-grown is best! :)
