Re: Liver transplant & anti-rejection drugs

Yes, I did take that out of context. It does apply to my friend as well, though, because cirrhosis(on TOP of the hep C) causes scar tissue and fibrosis, thus rendering the liver "dead", or, in his case, dying. His liver is severely compromised. I just found out that he has cirrhosis as well today.
I'm not going to send him any horror stories. He has made his decision. I AM going to do some research on the anti-rejection drugs.
I am praying that his surgery goes well. I am praying that he will have a decent quality of life afterwards, if he lives through it.
I just think that it is SO SICK that insurance will pay for a liver transplant and not for any true HEALING protocals. It pisses me off!
And I'm pissed at my friend!
I feel like he didn't try hard enough!
And I'm pissed at others I've lost!
I feel like I did't try hard enough!
And I'm pissed at this system and this world which is killing us!
Curezone is a haven. I'm crying.
