You are completely correct. In fact there was some research done on cat health, and the doctor's cats fed raw meat lived, and the ones fed cooked meat died. I read that in some wholistic pet care book, maybe Pitcairns'. Plus cats need to chew on bones and eat the marrow for proper nutrition and jaw health(same with dogs). Bottom line is any cooked food depletes it of nutritional value(some of which we don't even know yet) that needs to be further supplemented by more resources.
