Could it be that these people who go raw and eat mostly vegetables and fruits have less that perfect digestion because they have not cleansed their livers? One thing that I continually read from those having done liver flushes is that they can digest their foods better, their food allergies go away and their stools start looking more normal. Perhaps many who go raw are undernourished because they can not digest well enough. The person in that interview pointed out a study where people got either raw or cooked foods and those who got the cooked were absorbing more nutrients. I dont think he mentioned whether those who received the raw food were actually raw foodists, but there have been studies shown that it takes a few weeks for the body to adjust to a new diet or food group.
