So sorry not to have answered you -- I put my computer in for a tuneup (paid a price for downloading a numerology program -- cost me numbers $$$$) and just got it back today.
Listen to what MH says on the cleansings, etc. I am no expert.
I will say that in all books about taking up a raw food/living foods way of eating, it is said that the body will lose weight until it is clean and then it will start to gain the weight again. It seems that it must clean out all of the gunk and then rebuild to a desirable level. People will go below their desirable weight first -- but then come up again.
If you are fasting, then do as Lauren suggests and add the carrot juice.
You could, alternatively, switch to a natural diet which would get you healthy, as well as clean you out. In Raw Power, which is actually a book for bodybuilders (not me!), Stephen Arlin mentions that when he ate 'pretty much all day (high frequency of small meals)' he lost 13 pounds in 12 days. 'When I returned home, I ate only at night and lifted weights and took in sunlilght during the day and the weight returned quickly.' So, if you ate a couple of large, natural meals, you might be better.
As I type this, I can't remember if you have used the Dewormer yet. If not, that would be excellent. Again from Arlin -- 'I have noted, particularly with children turning on to raw-food, that excessive thinness is associated with parasite infections.'
If you do not have the Dewormer, he suggests eating some 'hot' raw food -- garlic, onion, ripe hot peppers, ginger, etc. -- put them in juices or salads, etc., on a regular basis. Many of the people on this Forum use these foods as protection against parasites.
Do be careful so that you do not put yourself in jeopardy. You can do a fast later if you want.
