I have high blod pressure. Most of the experts say to avoid the use of salt if you have high blood pressure. What do you think, should I avoid it? Does the body need it? Should I include salt if I'm just eating fruit, veggies, nuts etc? I've also read that drinking 1 qt of warm water with 2 tsp of sea salt first thing in the morning is beneficial in cleansing the colon? Maybe too much sodium for high blood pressure?
