i'm not sure you would want to chance taking depo-provera. for many people it has many unwanted side effects. just do a web search for depo-provera and you will come up with a lot of horror stories about it. i had a total of 32 lbs of weight gain within one year after having one shot total and 15 lbs of that was gained within the first month. i also was very hungry and had strange unbearable pains in my legs that lasted for 2 days about a week after i got the shot.
