what is the best form of birth control??

i go in for my yearly pap smear on the ninth of september and while im there i am gonna ask my doctor about birth control. i am sexually active with my boyfriend of 2 years. im in college and he is starting a career working for a software company right now neither one of us wanna take any chances on accidentally getting me pregnant. another reason that i want to get on birth control is because when im on my period i get cramps so bad that i cant move. pain shoots up through my spine and all down my legs. at first i htought that it would get better but as i am getting older it only is getting worse. i have been thinking about contous cycle or the shot. but i heard that it was not good to get the shot when you first start on birth control. any insight would be great Tweet
