Re: Being a Christian.

Here's my thought on that note #61621.

If anyone calls themselves a Christian and then turns around and belittles, badgers, insults, name-calls, and acts "holier than thou" to people on the board or anywhere else, you risk turning people AWAY from Christianity.

Is that what you want to do? You all harp about "saving babies" but are you really interested in saving others?

As evidenced above, I'm not necessarily talking about you specifically.

No one wants to be associated with a Religion that makes them feel like garbage, or associate with any people that make them feel like garbage. And do you call behaviour like that "telling the truth"?

If any of the Christians on this board cannot control themselves from acting condescending to others, then my suggestion would be to at least stop talking about being a Christian because otherwise you are risking looking like an ***hole and turning people away.

That's just my 2 cents for what it's worth.
