Re: Let's talk about South Dakota.

Obviously, the mother's life doesn't matter, the mother's health (both mental and physical) doesn't matter, the mental health and the physical health of the child doesn't matter, but the one thing these law makers don't seem to have a handle on is the bottom line cost to the state when these forced mothers are unable to take care of themselves (for a number of reasons) , and have to be on welfare, in adoptive families, placed in foster care, have to be supported on the school lunch program, end up on medicade, and the list goes on. Or when they get older, and these kids who have been subjected to abuse from a bitter mother who was forced to have a child she didn't want end up in jail and clog up the court system. Then you have to wonderful emotional side effects, depression, various mental disorders, mental retardation from incest cases, and the ultimate (illegal act) of suicide. Bottom line these lawmakers are increasing financial costs to the state, and human cost to those who continue to observe thier right as a human to regulate the changes and actions thereof. The only thing that wins in this situation, is the lawmakers can rest assured that while their reproductive morals have been up held, they can pay the price in hell for murder. What made them decide such a law? The time in purgatory must be less for indirect mass homicide.
