Did they put you on the medication immediately? I have the exact same symptoms and actualy logged on to find information on heavy clotting. I thought my period had stopped and then it started again, my periods usualy aren't that heavy, but since yesterday its been scary its been so heavy and the same thing as you...running to the bathroom every 30 min or so because I can tell the clots are comming. WEBMD said to call your dr if you had excessive bleeding or cloting so I gave in and paged my dr about an hr ago- he didn't seem to take me too seriously and never even asked specifics about the clotting, just told me I had a hormone imbalance and to go back on the pill. That doesn't realy help me now when I feel like I'm bleeding to death.
Did this medication help you? I'm giving myself a few more hrs I guess, if it doesn't let up I may give in and go to the emergency room, although he told me I didn't need to and that they would just do a D&C on me. Tweet
