So I've heard people say over and over again that it gets easier after day three. This definitely isn't true for me. The first three days are a breeze; I'm still so motivated and I don't mind the feeling of hunger. Then the reality of the situation sets in. Things just seem boring. Now, this is good because I am teaching myself that food isn't a cure for boredom. However, I nearly drive myself crazy planning my post-fast healthy lifestyle. I rip vegan recipes out of the Vegetarian Times, tally what I think my daily intake will be on NutriDiary.com, and, as I did tonight, go to the health food store and find all of the things that will become staples of my post-fast diet. I was there for an hour today!
