Re: What day is everyone on?
Day 8 is a good place to be. Your digestive system has shut down, so the real physical hunger is not there. So now you're on a roll and know you can make it to the finish line. That's very exciting!!
I had a few psychological pangs on my 34 day fast... Once, I went walking one evening and smelled all the neighbor's various dinners that were simmering or frying on their stoves, from fried chicken to something Italian (the oregano/tomato scent gave it away), that about killed me! I wanted to knock on someone's door and beg for food! LOL This was well into the fast, too.
I'm going to try the RAW lifestyle... I am so inspired by DeraDune's blog: http://curezone.com/blogs/f.asp?f=67 She has shared so much, the highs and lows, of going raw. There are tons of fantastic recipes on her blog I am itching to try. You just can't go wrong with a raw food diet. Now if only I can find a raw style cheeseburger. LOL
Here's another site for vegan dishes and veggie smoothies I am going to try beginning tomorrow, now that I am off my fast: http://www.all-creatures.org/recipes.html. Some interesting recipes here.
I wish you the best on your journey and hope you stay in touch and share your progress. Why not begin a blog? I found so much support when I did, it was unbelievable. Anyway, I'd love to read about your successes.
Good luck with your endeavor!
