That is so nice to hear that fruits won't make me gain wieght.
I tried going off of the Atkin's diet about 6 months ago, eating all fruits, veggies (mostly raw) and having a lot of fiber, but ended up gaining 7lbs. from switching to this way of eating. I just jumped into it also, I never once tried doing it slowly.
The Atkin's diet has benefitted me so much by losing 100lbs., but recently started to gain weight (10lbs.) for some reason. I still workedout and drank plenty of water, and stuck to the diet but haven't found out why I gained 10lbs. in just 3 weeks. I went to the Dr. and they said I was normal. Great brain hormones (huh, I forgot what they are called), thyroid is good, no diabetes. I just don't get it. I never lost inches either, actually gained inches but no sign of muscle build.
I would like to try and eat fruit afterwards because I haven't had any in so long, I'm just scared. Maybe I should start out with the low glycemic index fruits. Maybe that will work for me. It's funny because I have yet to find out what really works for me.
Before I started the Atkin's diet I at eso much of everything. There wasn't anything I wouldn't put ointo my mouth.
Thanks for the words of encouragement with the water fasting. You are doing great as well and I hope you find what you are looking for.
