ps: i don't know if you have this problem but since i'v done the first fast even though it's been awhile the weight comes off much slower does anyone else have that problem?????
everytime one fasts more than three days the metobolic rate slows down 10-25%. that's the normal reaction of the human body when it gets so little fuel it goes into ketosis and survival mode. it takes time to get the metabolism back up to its normal levels. sooooo....sadly the longer one fasts or the more frequently one fasts, the slower the rate of weight loss becomes. that's just the way the body was made to function and survive periods of famine whether real or self-induced.
there is a spot of good news, the slower the metabolism, the longer the life span for many people (as long as they remain at a normal weight).
