Re: Day 30

You may not be doing anything wrong. I think every fast you do, long or short, gives you the opportunity to fine tune for the next time. I've discovered, having peace (if not always ease) came down to my attitude about the fast, what my expectations were, what kind of support I utilized, including: how I spoke to myself, how I decided to handle challenges, how I treated myself, having patience and respect for my self and the process. I read that time really slows down when you're not eating and that boredom can set in. As the days go by you have to be prepared for that and slow down inwardly too. Why not? what's the rush? You get into it, You start chilling out. I think that is what's cool about the longer fasts. You may not be eating, but you are giving yourself a lot more time to work on you.
