Well 1 pound equals 3500 calories and if you're a runner, its gonna take running 25-30 miles a week to get off a pound by exercise alone. One good 30 minute session of moderate running is about 150 cal off. So be patient. I'm running too, but starting to fast to jump start a change in my body. Good luck.
