Your skin will eventually "shrink", but it depends on your age, how overweight you were, etc. My Doctor said to me that my skin will shrink, but will probably be loose, no matter what. He also said that drinking lots of water to keep well hydrated is good and that the skin shrinkage will take some time, not a matter of days. If you have stretch marks and they are stretched out, the skin will shrink somewhat, but from what the Doctor said it's like having underwear elastic that's been stretched out and gone beyond that snapping back elasticity - it'll stay stretched, just get less. The younger you are, the better your skin will be because there's usually more elasticity. I'm 48 and I know my skin isn't going to look the greatest, but nobody saw me in shorts because I didn't wear them and I don't care about the skin part, I just want the healthy part. I was also told that exercising cardio and weights will help a great deal too and that's what I plan on doing. Basically, I guess I'm saying that each individual is different and that there will be some skin shrinkage, but it depends on you, your age, hydration, exercise, etc.
