Re: Day 28
I definitely think the more water I drink the more weight is coming off. I am still detoxing somewhat and getting rid of stuff that I wouldn't have thought would still be there, but my food intake prior to this wasn't always very healthy, so many years of that has to still be flushed out I'm sure. What I've been doing lately is drinking 3 to 4 cups of the
Master-Cleanse a day, not the recommended 6-8 cups just because I only have it like when it's meal time and my body/mind just don't feel the need to have that much of it and with my slow metabolism, this seems to help stop the heartburn and gas I was getting so much of before - just too much, so I decided to increase the water intake and yes, I do hit the loo a lot, but not as much as I take in, so my body is using some of it to sustain itself and then the rest is being flushed out. I am staying very well hydrated, so I'm not losing just water as some might think, I am losing fat. I was tested today at my Doctor's office and my BMI has gone from a whopping 40 down to a lovely 33 and I've lost no muscle at all, only body fat. My blood pressure is totally normal now at 120/80 down from 185/95, so I know this is great for my body and my Doctor is all for it and he's telling me to continue on for as long as I can and then is going to help me wean off of it onto fruit and veggies juices with some veggie soup, but again, with lots of water to continue things moving. I do find though that I have to force myself to drink the
Master-Cleanse and the water - I'm so well hydrated that I'm not craving any foods or liquids either.
