I am on day three of a 5-day prefast. I am doing a juice fast for these days, and then I am going to head into a three-week water fast. I may even do four, depending on how I feel and how sick/well I become.
Right now, I feel very hungry and tempted to eat. The fact that I am hypoglycemic makes matters worse even. But despite this hunger, I know that I can do it. I know that I have a strength and power over food, and I will persevere.
