I'm 20, 5'2, 125 lbs. I used to weigh 105, but was put on anti-depressants because of herniated discs, fibromyalgia, PCOS, chronic fatigue, etc. I am looking to lose 20 lbs. The meds totally messed me up. I am off of them, have been for about 4 months, but I have not lost the weight. I feel horrible. I have been eating excessively and I need to stop this and get my emotions under control once and for all. I also have pleurisy right now (an inflamation of the lungs)and am in a tremendous amount of pain. Honestly, I have been eating HORRIBLY for the past 3 weeks and haven't gotten on the bandwaggon and just fasted! I need to do this for myself: for healing, weight loss, emotional control and sanity. I also enjoy the enlightenment I get while fasting. I plan on drinking about 80-90% water, and possibly a bit of cranberry juice and green tea per day. I desperately need encouragement and someone to talk to during this time, as I am depressed and fed up with it all. I would like to fast until I lose the weight, but I just plan on fasting for 10 days to start. I sure hope we all stick together and get going on this! Good luck to you all. Blessings!
