I don't think a fast is impractical. I think it will do your body good to get rid of toxins and such. The fact is though, if you go back to your same eating habits and exercise habits as before the fast, you are more then likely to gain the weight back and more of it. That's not to say you can't enjoy having desserts or steak or whatever, once in a while, it just means that you have to be practical about it. Have it once a week and eat lots of veggies and fruits throughout the rest of the week. Good luck neenster.
