When I fasted for 10 days in Sept of last year, and lost 16 pounds, I worked out everyday (fasted only on water), running, walking, weight training, aerobic classes, etc. Was the weight loss due to just not eating or the extention of working out, I don't know. But for me, I cant just sip water all day and lay in bed for 10 or 30 days to fast, I have a family of 5 to run AND I work out everyday like clock work second hand as brushing my teeth. Exercise benefits anyway regardless:)
