I have lost track on how many fasts I have done. Each one I know has been different. When I do a Water Fast I usually take it easy in the begining. Juice and Master-Cleanse I had more energy than with water fasting. You need to listen to your body. If you don't have much energy don't push yourself. If you have some energy use it wisely. You will have periods of up and down. You are right, the first few days are the hardest especially if you think about food. When you start thinking of food if there is any way for you to do something to occupy your mind it will be easier also drink somemore water to trick your stomache.
