nuts, seeds, legumes (beans), rice, grains (pastas, breads) are all good sources of protein. If you are so inclined, you can also eat eggs, fish and/or dairy for protein. There are several types of vegetarianism: lacto (dairy), ovo (eggs), fish, vegan (no dairy, eggs, fish, or any meats), and combinations of these.
