I hope someone has encountered this before and can shed some light.
I had started by following the fast from Bernard Jensen (for 7 days). I had incorporated fruit juice (with a juicer) to drink in order not to get hungry. For the first 3 days, things were going well. I did not have major hunger and felt better in some cases.
Then, I started going to work. After that, things started falling apart and I had to stop earlier than I wished. Basically, I was not able to take my supplements on time - and there had been some pressures that had been bugging me.
So, I had elected to stop on Day 6. I am proud of myself that I had gotten this far (on my first fast) - 5 full days without food.
Now I am trying to break it. I had started by eating some Watermelon this morning but after eating it, I get some bad cramps, feel a heat flush and my back starts sweating. To make it go away, I have been drinking water.
Can I eat again? I had planned to eat Watermelon for the next 2 days to "gently" break the fast but I am in some pain.
Can anyone offer some advice or help? I really want to get back to solid foods again ;-( What did I do wrong?
