OMG! I craved a cheeseburger all through my 30 day fast! I even made the most delicious cheeseburgers for my husband and his uncle one evening. I about died. I even pondered over Wimpy, Popeye's pal, as to why he begged for hamburgers when he could have begged for cheeseburgers. God!
I found if I sipped something HOT it would appease my hunger, whether it was physical or psychological... so I made veggie and fruit broths, in addition I sipped lots of hot herbal teas and hot lemon/cayenne pepper tea... staved the hunger and cravings more often than not.
If you drink more greens you'll find a peace, a high, and the strength to carry on. I did a base of carrot/apple and then added equal amounts of greens, dark greens. So if my juice is 16 ounces, 8 ounces is carrot/apple and 8 ounces are greens such as spinach, brocolli, dandelion greens, wheatgrass, beet greens, kale and swiss chard and so on... They are SO soothing, peace inducing, healing, energy inducing veggies. I refer to them as Life's Elixirs.
