I read everything that everyone wrote on your need for a speedy cure. When I first heard about
Acne being linked to diet I started eating only raw veggies and fruit myself for 2 months with no change what so ever. There were a few things I feel I was doing wrong though....one - I was using salad dressing which is full of
Sugar and dairy and oils that are toxic for your body....two - I definitely didn't eat anything organic b/c it is so much more expensive....three - I was eating too much fruit. You should only eat one serving a day. Normally I eat it for breakfast.
I ended up coming across a book that you can download as a pdf from
http://www.acnenomore.com. It is over 200 pages on how to holsitcally cure your acne. It seems that there is a specific order that you must cleanse your body. This book outlines an extremely detailed 2 month program on how to cleanse your body. It also outlines hormone balancing foods. As it turns out not all fruits and veggies are good for your skin. You need to learn the ones that are beneficial...such as cucumbers, avocados, blueberries, apples, wheatgrass, beets, spinach etc....
The book also outlines vitamins and supplements you should take everyday. I do not take all mentioned in the book but emailed the author and asked which ones were completely necessary and this is what I take now:
EFA Supplement (Omega 3,6 & 9) - Can't remember off-hand the dosage - 500mg ??
B Complex - 50mg
Vitamin E - 400IU
Vitamin A or Beta Carotene - ?? Sorry
Zinc - 50mg
Magnesium - 1000mg
Selenium - 100mg
Vitamin C - 1000mg
Lecithin - ??
MSM - 1000mg (took 5000mg for first 7 days)
Saw Palmetto - 500mg
Coconut oil - Try to take 3 tbsp a day
Olive leaf extract - 50mg
Primal Defense - 2 a day (excellent probiotic)
Organic Maca Root - 1 or 2 tbsp a day in water (great for hormone balancing)
Since taking the supplements my skin has healed so much better then before. The vitamins are not really implemented to completely clear your skin but to give it the strength to fight the bad stuff and also to heal it.
Also as far as cleansing your body. You should always clean you colon first. I have research this and gotten this info from several different sources. If you think about it, it makes sense. Waste leaves you body through your colon. Lets say you clean your liver first. The toxins leave your liver and make the journey to your colon to leave the body. But since you didn't clean out your colon it hits one hell of a traffic jam and now gets stuck in your already backed up colon. At this point the body will redirect this (whatever it is - toxin, hormone, yeast etc...) back into the body to try to eliminate it another way. If your colon is clear then the "bad" stuff will be able to leave. Also, and this is very important...you must do a parasite/worm cleanse along with the colon cleanse. Many people have them, they are everywhere...in water, on fruits and veggies, in meat etc...you can also get them from you partner or other family members. If you try to cleanse your other organs without the
parasite cleanse then it will not be very effective. The
parasites will get in the way and the toxins won't be able to elave your organs. You may even get ill while doing the
Liver Flush if you didn't get the
parasites out first. Not to mention that the
parasites and worms are toxic for you in the first place. So it should go:
1. colon/parastie cleanse
2. kidney/bladder cleanse
3. liver flush
I have gone through the Dr. Natura colon cleanse. It didn't cure my
Acne of course but it has improved a lot. My breakouts are less and the inflamation is sooo much less. I have also noticed that if I follow a good diet...lots of raw veggies, nuts, seeds, one serving of fruit a day...barely any meat, no dairy, no refined flour, white rice, refined sugar, junk, no cooked oils, no alcohol etc... My skin improves a lot. I am starting a
kidney cleanse tomorrow...which I will do by either drinking organic apple juice for 3 days or eat organic apples and cucumbers for 3 days and then I will be doing my first
Liver Flush on saturday.
I have not followed the 2 month regimen in the
Acne No More book yet because I haven't been able to find 2 months where I am not going on vacation or going out of town. I will be starting the 2 month cleanse in either mid june or early july depending on family trips and such. I have implemented many aspects of the book such as the vitamins, the skin cleanse routine which is fantastic, the diet and the cleanses. There is so much more to this book. I highly recommend it. I have had improved skin, hair, nails and energy just from what I have done so far. I wish you all so much luck and hope that this has been some help. Oh yeah...I have also ordered organic wheatgrass powder and red beet root powder from
http://www.theherbgoddess.com and try to drink that daily. Both are excellent detoxifiers for the liver and blood and I also drink detox tea and chamomile. Again, hope this helps. Sorry for the novel :)
