As just_peachy above said, the traditional method calls for extra virgin olive oil. I used it for the first three flushes, until the mere sight of it made me gag. Since then I have used lighter and milder tasting oils, such as almond oil and walnut oil, with equal success. I am thinking of using grapeseed oil at some point, but have not as yet.
