No truth to that whatsoever, carena. The only way to loose weight is to burn off
more calories than you take in. Eat less...exercise more...that's the key!
I read a post on Walk Away The pounds website about a year ago...and the lady said
she had tried everything to loose weight...and finally decided to spread her walking out over the whole day...she would walk one mile in front of the tv (one mile is about 120 steps a minute for about 15 minutes)...she did that when she
first got up...again after she took the kids to school..,and right before she picked
them back up...the 2 times up in the day...she walked 2 miles. She said she didn't
really watch what she ate...but ate sensibly...and backed off on sugar...and she
said the pounds just fell off. I did that right before our vacation last year...
I wanted to loose 15 pounds...and easily lost 11 pounds, I think it was, in one
month. It's just making yourself take that first step every day.
Another lady told me personally ...just recently...that she had been obese all her
life & was entering her 70's & decided to either loose weight or just go ahead and
die. :-) She said she just made up her mind to walk 4 miles every morning and
5 miles each evening...and she lost 140 pounds in one year. She was about 5' 0"
and just full of energy...and pretty as a picture. She said she didn't follow any
specific diet...but ate sensibly...she said the walking curbed her appetite a lot.
She said she continued to have all the foods she normally had...just ate less.
