Re: Killer race...
Words are like lies, we don't just say them, we live them. So, we have to be more careful with the words we choose. There are two ways a person can react to a bad situation, they can become bitter or they can become better. If they carry their anger around with them (chip on their shoulder) and let it become their personality, instead of just venting it and let it be in the past, they will be "bitter", but if they learn from it and let things be "better", they have learned a "wisdom" and are a "better" person for the experience. Of course, people will want to accuse you of being "bitter" (for their own ego), but you have to realize, that is not you. It is the bitter people who end up being "mad at the world" and not "having a personality of their own" who develop a contempt for society, but the ones who choose to be "better for the experience", learn only to get annoyed, angry, upset or mad and then "leave it in the past" and become "disappointed" in society because without all the games that people play we (society) could be so much better. That is why I think that suicidal thoughts are a sign of conscientiousness (and intelligence to see reality as it is), not mental instability. So, of course seeing things as they are is depressing, but that's because we have learned to see THE TRUTH, and I wouldn't trade that for all the suffering I've ever experienced in my whole life. The past is the past. It made me what I am, and was well worth the journey. Unfortunately, people sometimes are jealous and "feel" that I'm "better" than them, and I can't help but feel guilty about that, but I am not better than THEM, I am only "better for the experience" because I chose to be.
