NO, human nature is...That if things are left alone, they DON'T get better, they DON"T EVEN stay the same, they ROT and get WORSE. If she doesn't CLEARLY and COMPLETELY "blow off" her ex and tell him "goodbye", then YOU say "goodbye". Otherwise her psyco ex-boyfriend is going to end up making things worse in some way, either you'll end up going to jail for life for breaking every bone in his body, or he'll kill you in your sleep, or she will end up in a mental instution trying to deal with everything or you will end up in the institution instead or he will kill himself and she will blame it on you, or you will be visitng this forum while we try to talk you out of killing yourself. It's a "dead end" (literally) relationship if she doesn't tell him goodbye. Even if she does TELL you that she will, you can't be sure and it will probably be a lie. SORRY, but, you gotta think about yourself. Growing up means MAKING hard decisions and learning to do the right thing, not just for other people, but for yourself, too. So, either he goes (FOR SURE) or you go. You're not Mother Theresa, you can't save the world. Tweet
