I make mayonnaise from farm boughten raw eggs. Dr. Clark says that she thinks the samonella is on the outside of the shell, so wash your hands after handling. Also make sure not to use eggs with cracks in them. The lemon juice can help also.
I tried making mayonaise from canola oil one time and it would not get thick. What kind of oil do you use?
